Working online can be a very rewarding experience if you go about it in the right manner. The incorrect approach would be to search and apply for jobs as survey takers, data entry, or other clerical work. Truth is, there just are not many legitimate opportunities out there in those areas.
However, too many people overlook a very unique and exciting way to make some extra income working online. It is called affiliate marketing, and when done correctly, can become a stable, long term business that you can work in your spare time to create multiple streams of monthly income.
Part time online jobs are just what they sounds like: jobs. Conversely, affiliate marketing is not really a job, but rather, a business model that you can develop and operate on your own. You are your own boss, set your own schedule, and only do what you want to do.
The concept is really quite simple: there are thousands of companies who are willing to pay independent affiliates (that's you) a commission on sales that you generate. You are acting as another arm in their sales force. However, the really unique think about affiliate marketing, is you do not even have to do any selling or cold calling.
How this works, is you are a problem solver for people who are searching the internet for information. Think about the amount of times you have turned to a search engine to find information about a problem you may have. Chances are, you do this multiple times per week.
Your job as an affiliate will be to provide useful, accurate, and real information to these folks via various articles, blog posts and web pages that you build. When you do this, you are also directing them to the resources that the companies have available, and if they click on your links to those sites and make a purchase, you get a very nice commission.
There is no other business model that I know of that allows you to set your own hours, work from your computer, and have a true part time online job. I have been doing affiliate marketing for several years on a part time basis, and use the income to pay several bills each month, and cover the day care bill as well. With some work and effort on your part, you can do the same.
The biggest hurdle people find to getting started with affiliate marketing as a part time online job is learning how to create their content and get it published online.
