Work From Home Stuffing Envelopes - Why It Doesn't Work

Since the late '90's when the "work from home" craze began, there was talk about people who work from home stuffing envelopes. As it was told, people were making anywhere from $10 to $30 or more for stuffing one envelope. It sounds exciting, but many people now wonder if it still works or whether or not it's real.
You see, most envelope stuffing claims these days are nothing more than a joke. People still use this tactic to try to make a few bucks, but it just doesn't work anymore. Not only that, but there were never any legitimate programs that paid people just to stuff envelopes. And, I mean literally place papers into envelopes.
How Envelope Stuffing Worked
People would find products to sell that they would earn a commission from. So, they would order a list of people they could send a mailing to. They would place their advertisements in an envelope and promoted a website that could track any possible sales they made from the people they mailed their advertisements to. When people earned any commission, they would simply take how much they earned, subtract how much they spent on each mailing and would configure an average earned per "envelope mailed". That's why you would see outrageous claims of people earning tons of cash for "stuffing an envelope".
Now that it's all broken down, you can see that programs like this were nothing more than a sham. Sure, it could work for someone who wanted to develop it into a full-time business, but the costs would be extreme and something that any average person would not be able to do.
So, if you're looking to earn money working from home, envelope stuffing isn't the business to be in. Instead, try focusing on finding legitimate companies that hire people to work from home. There are plenty of jobs out there. All you need to do is find them and apply. You'll earn way more money going that route than you ever would trying to work on an envelope stuffing scheme.
